Understanding your ADHD
A reflective 6-week course
We provide a gentle, reflective course of sessions, designed to help you better understand how ADHD has shown up in your life, past and present. Using a combination of psychodynamic understanding, attachment-informed reflection, and technique discussion, we can navigate the complexities together and empower you to take charge of your journey.
What will we discuss?
Understanding your story
Whether have received a diagnosis or not, we will explore your history, relationships, worklife and background. You'll have the space to talk about your strengths and current challenges.
Emotional Regulation
Many people say that this the part of them they feel they would like a deeper understanding of. We will look at ways to develop an awareness of overwhelm and rejection sensitivity, keeping a keen eye on quietening the inner-critic.
Patterns, cycles & triggers
Once we identify your unique triggers, we can discuss how to recognise them in the future. Together, we’ll explore ways to break unwanted cycles and patterns, empowering you to feel more in control.
Relationships
The quality of our relationships has a direct impact on our levels of contentment, as well as our levels of comfort with intimacy. Together we'll understand how ADHD may affect the way you experience your relationships. It's likely that we'll touch on attachment patterns across your life so far.
This course of sessions offers a genuine alternative to traditional ADHD tips by combining psychological understanding with practical, personalised strategies.
